Verkadalai Rice (Pea Nut Rice)

Ingredients

2 cups - Cooked Rice  
1/2 cup - Raw Peanuts
4 - Dry Red Chilli
1 tsp - Chana Dal
Oil    2-3 tsp
1/4 tsp - Mustard seeds
1 tsp - Urad dal  
1 tbsp - Peanuts
a pinch - Hing
1 tbsp - Grated coconut
Salt
Curry leaves

Method:

Heat a pan, dry roast the peanuts in the low heat until it turns golden brown and
then transfer it to plate and keep aside. In the same pan, add few amount of oil heat on it,
then add curry leaves, dry red chilli, chana dal and roast for 2 minutes and blend it
to a coarse powder. In the same course powder, add roasted peanut and again blend it.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seed, urad dal, peanuts, curry leaves, hing, grated
coconut and salt. Fry it for a minutes till peanuts turn golden brown. After that add
grated coconut and saute it for 2 minutes and switch off the stove. Then add cooked
rice and peanut podi and mix the coconut-podi mixture well with the rice. Now Delicious
variety rice is ready to serve.
